Michelle Baker graduated from Michigan State University’s James Madison College with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and French Language in 2008. She earned a Master of Arts in Near Eastern Languages from Wayne State University in 2011 and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016.
During law school, Michelle interned at the Michigan Department of the Attorney General in the Civil Litigation, Employment, and Elections Division. She was a Student Tax Clinician in the MSU Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and participated in the Tax Clinic’s Alternative Spring Break program. She was also a member of the Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law.
Before joining Mike Morse Law Firm, Michelle worked at several firms representing insurers and defending no-fault, slip and fall, and dog bite cases. She is passionate about helping others and ensuring clients understand the legal process.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering new destinations with her husband.
